I get a warm feeling in my heart when I witness our Spiritual Community coming together for the greater good. 

Whether it's a fundraiser, a fair, sending healing and prayers to those in need, or any other event, there are a great many who put their hearts and souls into making our world a better place.

I am honored to call many of them friends.

Each day as I go through Facebook statuses or peruse websites I experience wise individuals promoting and encouraging each other and their various endeavors. I refer to these individuals as wise because they truly understand that we are all in this together. When we share our knowledge and resources everyone benefits.

So, today, I salute those individuals. They do make the world a better place.

Throughout our lifetimes we will be faced with many challenging situations that will test our belief systems, our own moral compass and our ability to carry on.

There have been situations in my life where I've chosen to accept the seemingly unacceptable and have stepped back from that which is not serving my Highest Good or anyone else's.

Have I given up or given in?

No. My innate stubbornness makes that impossible.

I've simply made peace with the situation and chosen to put my efforts into situations where I can be of some good.

But how do we know if we're coming from a place of acceptance or apathy?

When I'm operating from a place of acceptance I feel a sense of peace. I'm not angry, frustrated or depressed about a situation. There is a serenity that helps me do what needs to be done without much anxiety or strife.

When I'm operating out of apathy I feel paralyzed by certain events. Doom and gloom are the order of the day. The apathy times are quite unpleasant.

So, in all situations I will strive for acceptance when nothing else can be done. Will that make life easy?

No.

But it will make it easier.

I love working with the Reconnective Healing frequencies.

I never know exactly what's going to happen when I'm with a client  but I do know that something will happen. Sometimes the session is peaceful and loving and the client doesn't  display many physical registers. At other times their eyes are flickering wildly and their limbs are moving in response to the healing frequencies.

The times that clients' limbs begin raising from the table can be interesting. I've watched in amazement as arms and legs gracefully lift up near the beginning of the session and stay there until the session is finished. There are times that the client will not even be aware of this happening. On one occasion a client with physical challenges raised her torso up as gracefully as a ballerina, leaned over to touch her toes, then lay back down as if it were something she did every day. You could have knocked me over with a feather when that happened. For a few terrifying seconds I thought that this would have a negative impact on her. Then I realized that this was something to be celebrated. We were both being shown her future possibilities.

Many clients report they feel as though they are levitating. This past week seemed to be the week for clients to feel that sensation. One even asked me what I would do if someone really lifted off the massage table. I promised her that if it happened I would try to remain calm. Emphasis on the  'try'.

My work with Reconnective Healing puts me in touch with beautiful souls and miracles on a daily basis. It doesn't get much better than that, I would think.

Living a Spiritual life does not guarantee that you be without trials and tribulations. My heart aches a little every time someone says to me, 'I'm a good person. I cause no harm. Why is God/the Universe treating me this way?"



We sometimes think if we meditate, pray and practise the Law of Attraction enough we will not be plagued by illness or discord.



If only it were that easy.



I believe that we incarnate and choose lessons for the sake of our soul's growth. Some lessons are pleasant while others are exceedingly painful. The most painful lessons in my life have led to the greatest growth for me Spiritually. And that Spiritual growth has gotten me through many a tough lesson.


I firmly believe that if I did, indeed, create a challenge for myself, then somewhere I've also created the way to get through that challenge. I just have to work to find it. And I know that when I feel a measure of peace about the situation I am on the right track.



I am at peace with most situations in my life. Some, I'm still struggling with. There are times that I'm dragged kicking and screaming into enlightenment. The 'kicking and screaming' times have their purpose too, though, if only to provide a cautionary and amusing tale.



I wish you Peace on your Spiritual path. When you feel Peace in your soul you can face anything.

Today is the first day of the new year. It's already been a lovely one for me.

I awoke this morning to a lovely greeting from my husband of 17 years as he wished me a happy Anniversary.

I spent several quiet moments in reflection and gratitude for the lessons learned over the past year.

I went for an early morning stroll with a dear friend and witnessed nature at her most beautiful.

I will spend the remainder of the day doing the work I love and spending time with those I love.Then it's off to our favorite restaurant for our Anniversary dinner.

I think the New Year has gotten off to a great start.
