A Lovely Gathering

This evening I will be a part of a lovely gathering at Angel Hall Spiritual Centre located at 1040 Bedford Highway.

During the service I will be offering a spiritual presentation titled 'Self Mastery- What it is and how you can Achieve It'. I'll also be handing out 10 Decrees for Self Mastery.

If you've been looking for a spiritual group that honours all belief systems, and welcomes all, this may very well be the place for you.

Any time I have visited Angel Hall, and interacted with the dedicated Souls who gather there, I've been better for the experience. There's something uplifting about being in the presence of those who are truly working for the Greatest Good.

The Time I was Mistaken for an Angel

The time I was mistaken for an Angel started out innocently and ordinarily. I had stopped into the local Winners to see if there was anything there that would catch my eye.

Upon leaving the store I came across a woman who had just driven her vehicle into the bumper of another car, leaving a football sized dent. The woman was panicking and getting ready to drive away when she saw me. I told her I would help her write a note to leave on the vehicle or stay until the owner came back.

In that instant I felt compassion for her and for the owner of the other vehicle. I 'knew' the individual in front of me couldn't afford to pay the deductible for the damage. I also knew that it wouldn't be fair to the owner of the damaged vehicle to pay for it.

As I walked to my own car I prayed for Angels to help in any way they could. I felt the usual 'love wash' from the Angels when I did so. I had just grabbed paper and pen when the woman who had caused the damage ran up to me yelling, "You have to come see this!".

As I walked with her to the damaged car she was saying something incoherent about miracles, and as we got to the vehicle I saw why. There was no longer a dent... or a scratch.... or a scrape. The car was not damaged.

She was muttering, "How can this happen You saw the dent. How can this happen?"

I gently said, "I guess your Angels are really looking out for you today."

At that moment she started yelling, "Thank you! Oh, my God...you... you're an..." But I couldn't let her finish that sentence. What I wanted to say was, "I'm sorry but I am not an Angel. However, Angels were here with us." Unfortunately all that came out of my mouth was, "No..no...no...no..no".

I had to get out of there before things got worse so I ran to my car, started it, and tried to pull away. She was holding onto the door handle for dear life so I couldn't. I rolled down the window and said, "I have to go now. I have things to do". She did let go and I started pulling away.

As I drove away she was running after me yelling and waving her arms. After the shock wore off and I was a safe distance away I thanked the Angels who had intervened in that situation. Then I started laughing out loud. And I knew I would never forget the time I was mistaken for an Angel.
