For several days I limited my driving and found myself moving my head in strange positions so I could focus my eyesight and attention on the work that needed doing. I am pleased to report that the vague sense of motion sickness and slight headache have eased and I am now seeing things much more clearly.
While marveling at the physical adjustment that was taking place it led my thoughts to other adjustments that we, as evolving Humans, must make while learning to see things in a different way. I gained new insight into the effort and acclimating we must go through when we look at things from a new Spiritual perspective.
Looking at the things around us from a new Spiritual perspective can be every bit as disconcerting as getting used to a new pair of glasses. If we were comfortable with our old way of 'seeing' there may be real discomfort while we are moving toward a new way of seeing and Being.
If you have recently been introduced to a new way of 'seeing' and are feeling the discomfort of it I offer the following: First of all.... be kind and gentle with your self. Give yourself the time necessary to 'see' in a new way. Secondly, trust that you will adjust and things will become clearer. And, then, before you know it you will comfortably be 'seeing' things from a new perspective.
