I've attempted to write this post several times but found it impossible to put my feelings into words until today.
On January 1st my dear friend Natisha passed away. I will miss her physical presence more than words can say. She became a Reiki student of mine many, many moons ago, went to all of my workshops and was an integral part of the creation of Higher Realm Healing®, in which she became one of the first practitioners.
I could count on her support no matter what workshop I taught, or psychic fair I attended, and she was a wonderful sounding board when I was exploring some new spiritual idea.
She was deeply spiritual, wonderfully creative, delightfully irreverent and fiercely loyal to those she loved. Through her I was blessed to become friends with her sister, Nicolle, who also was there for every workshop and new idea I explored. I also got to know Lucas (her nephew) and Catherine, her Mum. During these past years Nicolle, Lucas and Catherine have become more precious to me than they will ever know.
Like the warrior she was, Natisha bravely fought the disease that eventually claimed her life. Her courage was evident through every procedure she endured and every hospital stay. And even at her lowest points her concern was more for her family than herself.
I am honoured to have known and loved Natisha. I will miss her...
