Happy Birthday Dear Vivian

I woke up this morning smiling because it's your Birthday. For a precious few moments I had actually forgotten that you were no longer physically on Earth. Thank you for gifting me with that feeling of bliss before the wave of grief hit.

Today we would have had one of our infamous 3 hour Birthday lunches filled with Laughter and Love. I would have kept the waiter busy while you snuck off to the bathroom to 'freshen up'. You would have accepted and examined the gifts from me as if they were treasures. And when Lunch was finished we would have stood outside our vehicles talking because we never ran out of things to say to each other.

And then we would have hugged and said, "I Love you." Because as many times as we saw each other we always did that.

Today I will begin a new Birthday tradition in your honor. I will have lunch with my husband who understands just how much you are missed. I will think of you celebrating with your parents, brother and the Angels. I will send extra Love to your husband, Indy and those who miss you as I do.

And I will smile through my tears because I am warmed by the memories of you on this plane and get to connect with you in the heavenly realms.
