Happy Mothers Day

Today is the day we set aside to honor the woman who is our Mother. For some, honoring the woman who lovingly guided them through their childhood and into their adulthood is easy. They have wonderful memories of laughter, warmth and a soft place to land when they fell.

Others, however, have to dig deep for pleasant memories of their Mother. Their childhood isn't a place they are comfortable revisiting. And sometimes, the woman who should have lovingly cared for them was unable to and couldn't be what the child needed her to be.

So, today, whatever type of Mother you had, take some time to honor her.

If you are in the category of having a wonderful Mother thank her for building a strong foundation that allowed you to traverse life's path knowing that you were always loved and wanted.

If your Mother was less than you would have her be, then thank her for making you a survivor who knows that you must rely on yourself to get through life's difficulties.

There is a school of thought that teaches that before we incarnate we choose the Mother best suited to guide us on our journey. I have a sense that if you really think about it you'll realize that you've chosen well ♥♥♥
