I find myself, yet again, navigating the grieving process. Over the past few years I've been given the opportunity to learn much about grieving the loss of those I have loved but going through the process hasn't gotten easier.
My father in law has passed away and today we will be having a celebration of his life. The will be laughter and tears. Both are appropriate.
I couldn't have loved Donnie more than I did and I will miss his physical presence in my life, greatly.
I will treasure the memories I have of his kindness and intelligence. He was a truly great man.
