On any given day you will find me with one foot planted firmly in the Spiritual world and the other foot planted firmly in the Business world. If I'm not in the downstairs office dealing with the family consulting business, I'll be upstairs in the Healing Room dealing with students and clients.
I love both jobs.
The work I do for the family company keeps me grounded and provides the solid base needed to pursue my Spiritual path. The Spiritual work I do provides me with the strength and understanding needed to deal with difficult situations that can arise with any corporate entity.
Sometimes the worlds intersect and that can be quite amusing. I nearly choked on my meal once when, during a business dinner, a financial adviser said he heard of the healing work I did and wanted to come for a session.
When speaking to individuals in the Spiritual community I sense their surprise that under the 'love and light' exterior there beats the heart of a level-headed and ambitious business woman.
I enjoy walking in both worlds. I believe it's possible to bring Spirituality into business and good business practices into Spiritual endeavors. It's been working well for me :-)
